The dive sites within the Natural Park of Montgrí, Medes Islands, and Baix Ter are in a privileged location.

The proximity to the coast, the mouth of the Ter River, the presence of northern currents, and the great geological diversity of the seabed make these areas rich in marine life accessible to all divers.

THE MEDES ISLANDS

ERDM EL CENTRE PARC NATURAL

The Medes Islands form a small archipelago consisting of seven islets and some rocks, located just a mile from the port of L’Estartit.

This is a Natural Reserve filled with life and unique landscapes, where we can find a large variety of big fish accustomed to the presence of divers.

It is common to see large schools of barracudas, amberjacks, and salps. We may also have the surprise to encounter eagle rays, sunfish, and tunas, not forgetting the company of curious large groupers.

The Medes Islands offer a wide variety of dive sites suitable for any certified diver.

  • SALPATXOT – GUIX

    La zona del Salpatxot es troba situada al nord de la Meda Gran, protegida dels vents de component sud.

  • PEDRA DE DÉU

    La Pedra de Déu es troba situada a l'extrem nord-est de la Meda Gran, protegida dels vents de component sud.

  • POTA DEL LLOP

    Pota del Llop està situada al extrem nord-est de la Meda Gran, exposada als vents de nord i de llevant.

  • LA VACA

    La Vaca és un túnel que travessa la Punta de la Galera de la Meda Gran, protegida dels vents de component nord.

  • DOFÍ NORD

    La cova del Dofí és un conjunt de túnels que es troben a la Meda Petita. El seu nom ve donat per l'estàtua d’un dofí que trobarem a la cara sud del túnel.

  • DOFÍ SUD

    El Dofí Sud es troba situat a la Meda Petita protegit dels vents de component Nord.

  • TASCÓ GROS

    El Tascó gros és l´illot bessó del Carall Bernat. Amb el seu gran diàmetre l'itinerari és tan senzill com envoltar l´illot.

  • CARALL BERNAT

    Carall Bernat és un illot d'uns 72m d'altura sobre el nivell del mar que està situat a prop de Tascó Petit i de Tascó Gros.

  • TASCÓ PETIT

    Tascó Petit està situat a prop de Carall Bernat i Tascó Gros. Entre els tres conformen un triangle d'illots que donen molt joc a l'hora de traçar diferents itineraris i adaptar-los a qualsevol nivell de busseig.

  • FERRANELLES

    Ferranelles és un petit illot situat entre la Meda Petita i el Tascó Petit. La immersió és de poca dificultat i està a l'abast de tots els bussejadors.

  • PUNTA SALINES

    Punta Salines es troba situada a la costa del Montgrí, aprop de l'Estartit. Zona molt tranquila i protegida de vents de component sud.

  • ARCS DEL DUÏ

    Els Arcs del Duï estàn situats entre el golf del Negre del Falaguer i l’Illa del Duï. És una zona coralígena on trobem uns arcs a una profunditat entre els 12 metres i els 20 metres i la vida pròpia de la Costa del Montgrí.

  • NEGRE DEL FALAGUER

    El Negre del Falaguer es una immersió per a tots els nivells, senzilla, poc profunda i de fàcil orientació. La zona està molt protegida del vent de nord.

  • CALA CALELLA

    La zona del Salpatxot es troba situada al nord de la Meda Gran, protegida dels vents de component sud.

Before the activity, it’s necessary to complete a medical questionnaire to ensure there are no health contraindications.
Before booking, ensure you are able to do the activity. If any doubt, consult your doctor or ask us for more information.

✔ Sunscreen*
*To protect marine life, we recommend avoiding sunscreens that may be harmful to some species. It’s better to use protective clothing and accessories or ensure the sunscreen is eco-friendly.

To dive, it is essential to have:

🕗 Regular hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (with a lunch break).
🚤 Dive schedules: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.

📍 Meeting point: 30 minutes before the dive at Hotel Panorama.
🚛 Equipment transport: We transport the gear to the port by truck while divers walk 5-8 minutes to the boat.
📖 Ecobriefing: Briefing about the dive site before entering the water.
🕒 Total duration: 2 hours per dive.

🔹 Distribution of dive sites: Specific dive sites cannot be reserved as dives are shared with other authorized centers and depend on the weather.

📌 Divers with certifications lower than Open Water Diver, Level 1, or equivalent CANNOT dive in the Medes Islands Natural Reserve.

📌 In the Medes Islands Natural Reserve, Open Water divers, Level 1, or equivalent must be accompanied by a guide.
📌 Divers with advanced certifications can dive with a guide by prior reservation. In case of not diving with a guide, they will receive a detailed ecobriefing of the dive site.
